Cookie policy
This page explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on feelfunctional.com, what they are for, and how you can change your mind at any time.
It sits alongside our privacy policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally, and our legal notice, which identifies who we are.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. It lets the site remember things between pages and between visits, such as what is in your basket or whether you have already dismissed a banner. We also use technologies that work in a similar way, such as local storage and pixels, and everything on this page applies to those too.
Your choice
The first time you visit we ask you what you allow, and nothing outside the strictly necessary category runs until you say so. You can change your answer whenever you want, including withdrawing consent you have already given.
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, parts of the shop will stop working, including the basket and the checkout.
The categories we use
These are the same four categories you see in the settings panel.
| Category | What it is for | Can you refuse it |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeping you logged in, remembering your basket, processing the checkout, security and fraud prevention, and remembering the cookie choice you just made. | No. Without these the shop cannot function, so they do not require consent. |
| Preferences | Remembering choices you make, such as your country, your language or a banner you have already closed, so you are not asked again. | Yes. |
| Analytics | Understanding how people use the shop in aggregate: which pages get read, where people stop, what breaks. We use this to fix things, not to identify you. | Yes. |
| Marketing | Measuring whether an advert led to a visit or an order, and showing you our adverts on other platforms. This is the category that involves sharing data with advertising partners. | Yes. |
Who sets them
Some cookies are set by us. Others are set by the providers we rely on to run the shop.
- Shopify, which hosts the shop and runs the checkout. Strictly necessary, plus analytics and marketing where you have allowed them.
- Shopify Forms, which shows the email sign up and remembers that you have already seen or closed it.
- Advertising and analytics partners we work with, only in the marketing and analytics categories and only after you allow them.
Each provider sets its own retention periods. Strictly necessary cookies generally last for the session or up to two years for things like your cookie choice. Analytics and marketing cookies typically last up to two years. Your cookie preferences are stored for six months, after which we ask again.
Data leaving the EU
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. Details are in our privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy. Write to info@feelfunctional.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, at aepd.es.
Changes
If we add or remove a provider we will update this page. Where the change is significant we will ask for your consent again.
